Clarinet Manager: Access to operation

Profile. Access to editing the profile specifications (conditions of test for monitoring and simulation on every interface type) and to launching the execution.

  • New. To create a new profile by selection from a list of templates.
  • Open or . To edit an existing profile in the current directory.
  • Run or . To launch the execution of an existing profile.
    Then the icon becomes to stop the profile execution.
  • New X25. To create a new X25 profile by selection from a list of templates.
  • Open X25 or . To edit an existing profile in the current directory.

  • New Frame Relay. To create a new Frame-Relay profile by selection from a list of templates.
  • Open Frame Relay or . To edit an existing profile in the current directory.

  • New IP. To create a new IP profile by selection from a list of templates.
  • Open IP or . To edit an existing profile in the current directory.
  • Exit. To close the Manager window.
  • Filter. Access to editing the filter specifications (protocol stack, format and conditions of display, record on events, optional filtering actions).
    Access to off-line processing of an event file.
    (*) active only if a User Filter-Editor executable is configured in the current configuration file.

  • New Protocol. To create a new protocol filter by selection from a list of templates.
  • Open Protocol or . To edit an existing protocol filter in the current directory.
  • Run Protocol. To launch the execution of an existing protocol filter on an existing event-file.
  • New Statistics. To create a new statistics filter by selection from a list of templates.
  • Open Statistics or . To edit an existing statistics filter in the current directory.
  • Run Statistics. To launch the execution of an existing statistics filter on an existing event-file.
  • New User(*). To create a new filter in a User way.
  • Open User(*) or . To edit in a User way an existing filter in the current directory.
  • Run User(*). To launch the execution in a User way of an existing filter on an existing event-file.
  • Events. Access to editing an event file (Protocol, Statistics).
    (*) active only if a User Event-Editor executable is configured in the current configuration file.

  • Open Protocol or . To edit a protocol event file with the Clarinet Protocol Event-Editor.
  • Open statistics or . To edit a statistics event file with the Clarinet Statistics Event-Editor.
  • Open User(*) or . To edit an event file with the User Event-Editor.
  • Directory. To define the path of the working directory.
