SS#7 ISUP signalling behaviour: Communication

Starting delay. Initial waiting time-period between the starting of the execution of the profile and the launching of the communication.
An empty field means an infinite value of time.

Execution number. Number of consecutive executions of the communication; must have a finite, non-null value.

Delay between exec. Delay between the end of the previous execution and the launching of the next execution of the communication.

Call establishment. with the following steps in sequence:

  • User indication. Character string included in a traffic event generated at the beginning of each execution of the communication.
  • Send IAM... Message (Initial Address) transmission.
Access to editing the attached buffer of Parameter(s).
  • Send SAM... An optional sequence of SAM messages (Subsequent Address) can be automatically transmitted.

Active state. With the specification of the source to be connected and the duration.

  • Active source. See the choice list. Only significant in the One SP + B Channels emulation mode.
Source to be connected in the switched B channel(s) during the active state of the call.
  • Data state duration. If this duration expires, the call is automatically cleared.
An empty field means an infinite value of time.

Call clearing. with the following step in sequence:

  • If normal clearing, Send REL... Message (Release) transmission, if the calling party clears the call after the Data state duration.
Access to editing the attached buffer of Parameter(s).
  • or if resource unavailable, Send REL... Message (Release) transmission if resource unavailable (as channel or data source).
Access to editing the attached buffer of Parameter(s).
  • Send RLC... Message (Release Complete) transmission, if the called party clears the call.
Access to editing the attached buffer of Parameter(s).

Copy/Paste functions

The Copy ISUP ... buffer and Paste ISUP ... buffer functions allow to duplicate the contents of a particular message to an other one (in the same profile or a different one).

TRANSDATA TRANSDATA interface with automatic TS switching from/to the current interface.
Cofidec 1 Digital input/output of the Cofidec 1.
Cofidec 2 Digital input/output of the Cofidec 2.
Byte-TS /Wav Byte-TS or wav file selected from a choice list.
64 Kbits data source (as speech, ...).
PESQ Wav file selected from a choice list (64 Kbits data source).
PESQ measurement is carried out on the Tx/Rx data flows at the end of the profile execution according to the following settings:
  • Analog properties set in the Protocol filter defined within the profile
  • configuration file set as WI_ANALOG by Clarinet-Init

Source selection. For some data source type, a complementary selection area must be accessed.
