How to modify the H225 messages replying to an incoming call

This page describes the way to configure the SETUP message when simulating an H323 End-Point with the following features:

  • connection to an Ethernet network
  • registration from a Gatekeeper by using H225-RAS
  • establishment of signalling channels by using H225
  • establishment of media channels by using H245

Changing the CALL PROC content of Incoming calls

Profile H323_simu_mac_endpoint_RAS.aip  needs to have some modifications of the default addresses:

  • Open the profile:
    • ProfileèOpen IP...èH323_simu_mac_endpoint_RAS.aip.

  • Modifications of the  CALL PROCEEDING  messages used by the H323 Endpoint :

    • Adding more IE in the CALL PROCEEDING (Progress Indicator as an example)
      Initialize Emulator èH323 èResponder behavior èCall Proceeding èNoneèProgress Indicator èCoding
    • The following field should be configured:
      • Coding Standard
      • Location
      • Description
  • Save the profile under a new name:
    • ProfileèSave asèfilename.aip.
  • Select this new name in the LAN profile and save it.
    • ProfileèSave asèfilename.acp.
