Filter protocol - RECORD action description

Actions of the Record type can be executed:
  • ON-LINE by the MANAGER excuting a profile including a filter reference
  • OFF-LINE by the Filter/Run menu.

Writing the event in the file via the Record action takes place if:

  • the filter transmits the event (depending on the selection conditions according to protocol specification).
  • the current Record State is ON.

At the beginning of the recording operation, the current record state is set by the Initial state parameter of the filter file.

Record action, if applied, has a specific execution format. The writing format for BOP events supports a Data field length parameter.
